Founded in 2000, Rainbow Refugee Committee (RRC) is a Vancouver based community group that supports and advocates with people seeking refugee protection because of persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or HIV status. Health Initiative for Men (HIM)

HIM is community-based organization dedicated to strengthening the health and well-being of gay men. They focus in the areas of social, mental, physical and sexual health. They offer weekly social/discussion groups, yoga classes, and volunteer oppurtunities for gay men to meet other gay men. Also, HIM runs two sexual health centers (one in downtown, one on Commerical drive), which offers a range of services for gay men: STI testing, rapid HIV testing, early HIV testing, peer support, professional counselling, personal strategic advising and sexual health education.
